Born and raised in Georgia, Ali began her culinary journey in the kitchen with James Beard award winner Hugh Acheson. Americas Test Kitchen, Flour & Water and Petit Crenn followed as she worked her way through the ranks of the line cook in San Francisco and earned her stripes in the kitchen.
