I am a freelance food stylist, recipe developer, and private chef based out of Charleston, SC. Creating unique and delicious food for people and photos is my passion. Born and raised in Georgia, I began my culinary journey in the kitchen with James Beard award winner Hugh Acheson. America’s Test Kitchen, Flour & Water and Petit Crenn followed as I worked my way through the ranks of the line cook in San Francisco and earned my stripes in the kitchen. I then worked at Dotdash Food Studios, creating content for brands like Food & Wine, Real Simple, Southern Living, Allrecipes & Health Magazine among others. After 6 years as a stylist and recipe developer, I started my own business, Ali Eats, where along with food styling, I am hosting private dinners and culinary events that bring communities and passionate culinary producers and eaters together for nights of fun and deliciousness. .
